Soulsong: a book of mystic musings

Work on Jade Mc Menamin's first suspense novel, The Courier, was well underway when the Coronavirus brought the world to a devastating standstill. During a very emotional interaction with God, he urged her to write about her spiritual journey instead. She heeded the call and assembled the graffiti in her soul for a book of mystic musings. SOULSONG is a collection of memories of her spiritual awakening, reflections of the agony and ecstasy she has encountered on the way; as well as the weathered wisdom with which she has emerged from the flames of her former self. This collection of spiritual musings, poems and essays speaks of immense inner turmoil, suffering and personal growth. But the words come alive with the magic of acceptance, forgiveness, healing, transcendence, hope and love. Jade Lee Mc Menamin is a transgender writer, philosopher, visual artist, wannabe photographer, dog lover and cosmic wanderer. She lives in Pretoria, South Africa; with her three furry soulmates. Her first book, a romcom titled Operasie Droomvrou (Operation Dream Girl - not available in English yet), was published in 2019. She has written two more, upcoming dramatic novels; Lionheart and The Burden of Shadows. Her first suspense novel, The Courier, is nearing completion.
