Kirby Engineering Mideast Operations is the second book in a series about the Kirby Company. Mideast Operations is the story of how Kirby expands their operations to Iraq and the Mideast. Tom encounters many problems and much internal dissension within the company trying to stop the expansion. The danger he faces puts a heavy toll on his marriage and the people around him. Working in the harsh elements and withstanding attacks from terrorist as they rebuild the Iraqi national power grid only adds to Tom's and Kathy's personal problems.
