E ∞Troubled Destiny, begins just three months into Elaine's tour, and it seems Rachel, her sixteen-year- old daughter, has a different agenda. This is manageable, however, with Rachel, the youngest of three, whose tantrums and rebellions, while different from her siblings, are not new. But then comes an unexpected twist when the torso of an American Elaine recently met with floats to the surface of the Bosporus, leaving her with an uncertain danger and no clue as to why. So far, she can cope; but when Ryan, a young airman stationed in Istanbul, unveils his love for her, Elaine is plunged into a cauldron of desire and doubt that has her at wit's end and juggling a multitude of priorities. But then Paddy, a British man she knew briefly before leaving for Turkey, arrives on the coast of the Black Sea. Suddenly, managing, coping, and juggling are no longer an option as Elaine enters a tortuous period where she must face her own worst fears and decide who, if anyone, can share the love she holds within.
