Please read this book! I feel fortunate to have participated in Mrs. Foster's care. This incredible woman survived, raised a family and became a spokesperson for those with disabilities. Unfortunately, in this era where most physicians are now employees, health care may be denied through fear of reimbursement penalties due to poor outcomes. Many patients with severe injuries or diseases with poor prognoses do not receive the same standard of care that Jill did. Remember, all bleeding stops eventually.
