In Book One of this fairy tale adventure, Princess Sapphira and Prince Dmitry, after their bethrothal celebration, embark on a quest to fight evil and protect the kingdom of Astillia. They begin by looking out from the tallest tower in the castle when Princess Sapphira sees something strange in the forrest beyond. She and her prince must find out what it is, and they set out on their quest.
At the outset they encounter a bewitching old woman who leads them to a magical tree where Prince Dmitry first discovers Princess Sapphira's powerful gifts for fighting evil. The three of them continue along the base of a sinister mountain where malevolent monsters dwell. Soon they discover a villainous alliance between Goblins and Orcs who have vowed to kill King Argos and King Leo who rule all the kingdoms. Meanwhile, a scout pack of Orcs lead by Urag -- a diabolical leader determined to launch a surprise attack on the kingdom of Astillia feeling that all humans must be stopped before news reaches Astillia. Hoards of Goblins and Orcs surround the castle walls and fierce fighting ensues.
