It is Public Domain. First Published in Year 1919-1920. This Revised Edition is a smaller book teaching Dr. Bates' Main Practices for Clear Eyesight. Easy to read, a quick way to learn Dr. Bates' Method. Photocopied, preserved in the antique print with the green book cover edges kept around the pages to show its history, authenticity. Dr. Bates' Books, Magazine, Eyecharts, Cards, Letters and other items are preserved by Natural Eyesight Improvement Teacher, Author Clark Night. I added some to this book; 2 Extra Chapters from Dr. Bates' Original 1919-1920-1940 Editions, Antique Pages from his monthly Better Eyesight Magazine, Newspapers, Close and Far C, E Eyecharts with Directions. Three Charts are copies of Original Antique Test Cards created by Dr. Bates and used by him and his Assistant, wife Emily C. Lierman, A. Bates in his New York City offices and clinic.

D., the Ophthalmologist that discovered, practiced it in the 1800s-1931. Dr. Bates worked throughout his life treating people successfully with Natural Eyesight Improvement. When he cured the eyes, vision of many patients and other doctors in the hospital where he worked using natural treatments and proved his method is fact and that some of the old theories of eye function are incorrect; the doctor/surgeon in charge of the hospital (who preferred to sell eyeglasses, surgery and drugs) expelled him. Dr. Bates worked at other places and in his own office and Harlem Clinic, New York City. He treated thousands of people by natural methods. He kept his price for treatment low and gave free help to people that could not afford to pay for a visit to an Ophthalmologist. His treatments were successful. He cured the young and old, people of all ages. Dr. Bates' Method is simple and effective. Many of his cured patients, 'often children' cured their parents, teachers and other children of defective eyesight.
