My life has been anything but a fairytale.

From a drunk of a mother that didn't want me, to a much older boyfriend that exploited me, nothing about growing up has been easy. Abandoned and lonely more times than not, I sought attention in any way I could get it. It's said birds of the same feather flock together. I found companionship in my best friend Lux. Both of us living in Hell, we were determined to get out or die trying. Atlanta is where we found a home, and despite our many differences as adults, she'll always be my sister.

Chaos started with a tattoo. A new shop came to town, and the owner has a rep most artists would kill for, me included. I knew my one dream would never be a reality for me. All I wanted was to carry a piece of ink that was created by him. Happy birthday to me. I had no idea that one tattoo would change everything for me. Dreams would come true. Nightmares would become reality. Irresponsibility would breed consequences. My world would turn dark.

Hell has a way of finding you. Murder, crime, secrets-all things forced on me. But in the end, two broken people would fall in love, and sometimes a world of darkness is more beautiful than anything found in the light.
