But it didn't take long before we were enjoying "Land Yachting" much more than we thought we would, and we were spending more time traveling and sightseeing than scouring marinas. We realized this was the lifestyle of exploration and adventure we'd rather have, so we chose to change course, and continue to stay on roadways instead of waterways. It was faster, our feet would stay dryer, and it was far more economical. We have been permanently cruising aboard our rolling L/Y Time Machine for over twenty years now, and we've been to destinations we never would have gotten to from any harbor.

This isn't a "How to Do It" guide, but instead it covers the highlights of "How We've Done It" from an entertaining and personal point of view. It also answers some of the questions we're often asked such as, "How can you afford to live in Europe for so long? How do you know where to go and how to get there?
