Abigail Fletcher finally has her life together. There's just one thing left to do: reconnect with her five-year-old daughter, Sadie, who she left three years ago, her anxiety telling her Sadie would be better off without her.

Moving to the small town of Kauri Creek, Abigail lands an incredible job as an event manager at Wildflower Ridge, the same property where Sadie lives with her dad, and the family they now call their own.

But she never bargained on Flynn Woods, the charming farmhand who seems hellbent on getting her to loosen up. He's everything she's not - easy going, relaxed, sure of his place within his found-family, and when neither can deny their attraction, their friendship quickly develops into more: some no strings fun in the bedroom.

Despite his influence on Abigail's life, not even Flynn can protect her from her own mind, or his ghosts, and the pair will need to decide if they're willing to open their hearts to each other, or figure out a way to continue being 'just friends'.
