Armed with twin blasters, a sharp tongue, and absolutely no impulse control, Roxie has made a name for herself by diving headfirst into the most dangerous stories in the galaxy. Her best friend and fellow reporter, Tucker, only recently started carrying a gun-mostly because working with Roxie has a 98% chance of ending in explosions.

With Deadline, her sleek, heavily armed spaceship that shares a consciousness with her seven-foot-tall robot bodyguard, Switch, Roxie uncovers the kind of criminal conspiracies that most people die for knowing.
