While Rebasing is a more involved procedure where the denture's base is replaced entirely. It essentially means creating a new base for the existing denture teeth. This is done when the denture still has good teeth but the base is no longer functional or has become worn out. Rebasing is typically used when a denture has become too worn or the previous reline didn't provide sufficient improvement. Both procedures help extend the lifespan of dentures and improve comfort and fit, reducing issues like soreness or discomfort from loose dentures.
