When Susans' marriage to her much younger husbands ends, she embarks on new territory with online dating.Adventurous by nature, she sets out to explore the exciting, sometimes hazardous offerings online, much to the alarm of her family and friends. Her journey, often on her much- loved Harley Davidson - takes her from the breathtaking countryside of the Western Cape, its quaint villages and rugged coastline, to Europe, riding through the snow capped Alps and yachting in the Mediterranean Sea.

Her candid account of her online dating encounters - some passionate and promising, some sadly disappointing and others still hilariously funny - is told by a successful independent mature woman, longing to meet her ideal partner. She believes he is out there somewhere, someone with a zest for life, who she can connect with, share her ambitions with, socialize with and have fun with.

With the practical wisdom of an older woman, Susan is not blinded by her feelings, nor the declarations of "love" expressed by some of the men she meets, regarding these with a healthy dose of scepticism. Although not always easy for her, she manages to accept failed encounters with philosophical aplomb and many of these result in long- term friendships and playing scammers at their own game.
