Further entries in old notebooks reveal Felix Fist at last having found what he thought his one true love considers whether he has been granted something other than what he had wished for. Surely the sex was the best he had ever had, and the moments he had been allowed to share his interests in art and ideas had filled him with joy. Yet after several years of dedicated effort often turbulent, he began to feel what he had been offered in return wasn't sufficient to satisfy his needs. Why then had he continued in yet another relationship that apparently wasn't going in the right direction and instead seemed to be going in the direction as too many others had gone before. Yet he gallantly had persisted as if his life depended upon it leading him to another unsurprising end.
