Green Manufacturing: Implementation and Implications

At this time, the manufacturing sector, which is so vital for economic growth of India, is experiencing critical Capacity Utilization (CU) level. This has led to increase in costs, locking up resources and reduction in profitability for manufacturers. In the quest for better operational performance and increase capacity utilization level, Manufacturing sector must incorporate GM as a strategy for business improvement.
