商品簡介
The Bible is composed of people with names, such as Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Moses, Samuel, and David, interspersed with those who are unnamed. The nameless ones played an essential role in the Bible. These characters brought a more defined and deeper understanding of the Bible.
We cannot help but wonder why there are so many anonymous servants. Tradition has given names to several of them, such as the Wise Men, the Rich Ruler, and the Two Thieves; however, Scripture remains silent regarding their identities. It is comforting to realise that although the multitudes of workers are unknown, they are yet well known. They are manifested unto God, who sees that which is hidden from the human eye, and whose approval is the highest reward. Their abiding influence cannot be hidden.
Nameless in the Bible is not written to prove a point, nor was it to elaborate on something which is not mentioned in the Holy Scriptures. Nameless in the Bible was written with only one objective: to make the reading of the Bible an exciting and thought-provoking exercise. A daily exercise which says, Give, and there will be gifts for you: a full measure, pressed down, shaken together, and overflowing, will be poured into your lap; because the standard you use will be the standard used for you. Luke 6:38
