Requiem

Since the beginning of time, the Angel of Death, also known as Samael, has known nothing but death and has embraced that fact-until a stormy night when a small, beautiful face changes his world. Although he has taken the lives of countless others in the past, Samael can no longer ignore the dark emotions that surround his destiny and purpose.

Now Samael desperately wants to feel love, happiness, and experience all the joys life has to offer. After he is granted permission to take the form of a high school student and live among humans for a short period of time, Samael journeys through a difficult adjustment period to finally experience all the pleasures of life, including love. But when the life of the one who has captured his heart is about to be extinguished, Samael must risk his own existence to save hers.
