The first problem-how to untangle him and remove all of the seaweed.

The second problem-how to get him home, especially when she discovers one of his paws is broken. After a couple of failed attempts, the only other thing Gertrude can think of to use is her recently deceased grandmother's wagon. Will it work?

And the third problem-can she keep him? And can the dog help Gertrude heal?
