Christmas approaches once again, and Marcy is still a chronically single ride-share driver who is now sure her life will never change. Being a bush pilot, Jay has spent the last decade flying in the backcountry of Alaska. But with the news that her grandpa-who taught her to fly-has passed away and left her half of his airway, she packs up her life in Alaska and flies home to meet the mystery person she now has to share a business with.
After Jay and Marcy meet, they become fast friends due to their shared love of flying and planes, and decide to spend Christmas together instead of alone, as they have in years past, thinking it will be a good way to get to know each other better.
That is, until Jay finds out that Marcy wants more than just friendship. Suddenly, the Christmas plans of these two pilots are up in the air... and plummeting towards the ground in a death spiral of awkward tension.
