Let's face it, children hate needles! Shortly after a child is born, he receives his first vaccination. From the age of two months until the age four or five years, the child receives numerous vaccinations before entering kindergarten. Approximately 60 percent of well child health visits involve vaccinations. The vast majority of these are given by injection, which, of course, require a needle to administer.
