"Your Father is a Sinner" mirrors the life of a couple who were born in the rural countryside of Umuise but determined to find their fortune in the big city of Enugu Ngwo amidst the 1950s economic and social challenges in South Eastern Nigeria. It showcases how relevant some of the norms and traditions could be applied to our current family situations regardless of the gap in time. The book brings us to the discovery that goal attainment in a family set-up requires patience and that whoever has the opportunity to make a bigger contribution towards family success should not see himself or herself as the only driver in achieving the spiritual, social, and financial breakthrough that the family needs. Each contribution towards the expected success is unique and could take the form of ideas or materials to change the speed and dynamics of a whole family plan, as illustrated in the book.
