The Meditation: A scientific Method to Connect with the Divine

I am not the hands or feet that act,

Nor the eyes or ears

that sense and react.

I am not the earth, nor water's flow,

Not fire, nor wind,

nor the sky's glow.

I am not the five life-force,

That keeps this body-cell alive.

I am not the mind, nor thought,

nor feeling, Nor the inner tides

of rising or healing.

I am not the chakras, seven in line,

Spinning deep with energy divine.

I am not this form you see-

I am pure consciousness

and eternally free.

I am the blissful Self within,

Untouched by sorrow, free from sin.

I am the soul, serene and still,

Beyond the body, beyond the will.

This body shall return to dust,

As all things fade, as all things must.

But I remain, I do not die-

I am eternal,

I am the Soul.
