When a close encounter with a twister sends him to the hospital, the last person he expects to stitch him up is his high school sweetheart. Seeing her again feels like fate.

The storm that shattered Lizzie James's life may be long gone, but the damage was never repaired. After a tornado tore through her hometown-taking her parents and destroying everything-she swore she'd never go back. Haunted by nightmares and burdened by anxiety, she's done her best to forget that day. But when her former boyfriend ends up in her ER, the memories she buried come rushing back.
