Banished from the Mer's carefully curated world, most Sirens live in hiding to avoid unjust execution for their powers- but the tides are beginning to change. As she guides them back to the ocean, an attack from a dangerous cryptid demands the use of her Siren Song and reveals a secret she didn't even know she had.

Oblivious to her inner turmoil, the Mer King finds her captivating- as does his partner. Their advances only serve to fuel her confusion, and her hunger. While teetering on the edge of her sanity, the Sirens find them once again, and this time draw blood that cannot be recovered. With all their lives now hanging in the balance, Renita must choose which of her people to protect.
