After clashing with the principal of the middle-grade school where she teaches, Hazel Belmont is happy to accept the offer of a job at the town's new sports center owned by Ross Roberts and Mike Dawson, a tennis pro who's semi-retired and teaches tennis at the center. She and Mike arrange to foster Jed when his family has to move out of state and discover that love can make more than one match.
