But you cannot resurrect the past without waking the dead. As Kit pulls at the thread of the recording, she attracts the attention of a killer who thought his secret was safe in the silence.
Now, forced out of her sanctuary and into the chaotic world she fears, Kit must trust the only detective who believes her: the disgraced DI Miller. Together, they have to solve a murder that already happened-before the killer ensures Kit never hears anything again.
