A sexual harassment complainant vanishes just before trial. At the same time, two Roma college coeds never arrive home after a nighttime walk. Deputy District Attorney Anne Rosen and her women colleagues begin investigating these disappearances and make two discoveries: the existence of rampant sex and human trafficking in the city and a spate of local homeless women including military veterans vanishing or accosted without any law enforcement response. Now they and their allies must race to identify and eradicate the trafficking predators because some of their own friends have been abducted too!
