The only constant in Hollywood is change, and as the movie business rushes headlong into the digital age, the effects of physical and cultural change can be seen most clearly in the iconic Los Angeles locations where our favorite movies were filmed. Some of these locations remain as they were when first captured on film, while many others have begun to yield to the inexorable pressures of change. Some have become unrecognizable, while others have disappeared altogether. Lost Hollywood is our humble attempt to capture for posterity those locations which remain, before the movies become the only place we can see them again.
