商品簡介
This book is a guide on how to visit some of Australia's national parks using only public transport - be it by bus, train or plane. This first volume contains details on how to visit over 60 such parks in the States of New South Wales and Queensland. They are not necessarily the "best" national parks but those that are usually more accessible from major cities and towns. National parks preserve the best natural parts of Australia. They showcase the best natural landscapes, including the varying flora and fauna of Australia. That is what makes national parks great and special places to visit. The book is not a detailed or comprehensive guide to national parks. It points you to resources useful when visiting parks. However, it does include park location maps, public transport access, park websites, things to see in the parks, staying in the parks (camping and nearby accommodation) and things to do in the parks (with an emphasis on walking).
