Vilok, a grassroots-driven NGO worker, and Rimli, a sharp academic and researcher, come together in the floodplains of Assam to implement a government project. Soon, they discover that the communities they work with rely on generations of lived wisdom-knowledge that works and is in harmony with nature, but finds no place in rigid project frameworks. As they try to bridge these two worlds, they face resistance from the system, their team, and the communities themselves. Amidst this struggle, a quiet bond of love begins to grow between them, shaped by shared purpose, disagreements, and the intensity of their work. But as the challenges deepen, so does the strain on their relationship, forcing them to choose between holding on and letting go.
