HOLA, MI NIETECITO:
no est嫳 solo. Aunque no me veas en tu cocina, aqu?sigo contigo, ech嫕dote porras y cuid嫕dote a mi manera.

THE GRANDMA WHO CONQUERED THE INTERNET, WITH OVER 4 MILLION FOLLOWERS.
HELLO, MY LITTLE GRANDKID,
Becoming independent is a brave step, and your Granny Angie couldn't be prouder of you. I know a lot of things are scary the first time: bills, deadlines, decisions... and cooking. Don't panic if it doesn't work out the first time--it's normal; nobody is born knowing everything.
There will be days when
you feel tired, confused, or even like going back to your parents' house. And that's okay, little one; growing up hurts a little, too. But I want you to know something:
you're not alone. Even if you don't see me in your kitchen, I'm still here with you, cheering you on and looking out for you in my own way.
In this cookbook, I'll tell you what my first times cooking were like. Believe it or not, I made mistakes too--I overcooked the rice and even oversalted the soup.
I'm not a top chef nor am I bringing you the most elaborate recipes; on the contrary, here you'll find
simple recipes, the kind that fill your belly and your heart, with the dishes that have been with us all our lives. I'll also share some of my little tips:
how to pick the freshest ingredients at the market, what to cook based on the season, and even how to handle spicy food without suffering in the process. This isn't just a cookbook; it's
my way of pampering you in this new chapter so that, little by little, your kitchen is filled with confidence, delicious aromas, and the warmth of home.
Remember that becoming independent doesn't mean being far away; it means starting your own journey, always carrying a little piece of home with you.
With all my love,
Grandma Angie
