Beatrice is a young, energetic and curious beaver who begins her day attempting to play with the other Blackwater Bayou animal children. As sometimes happens with young children, the play and laughter turn into teasing when Beatrice cannot catch tiny worms with her large yellow teeth like the frisky baby bream. A sad and embarrassed Beatrice swims away from
the group only to hear deep gulloping distress calls from a mother bullfrog. Blackwater babies are being swept rapidly over the bank of the bayou because of a tree that crashes over, breaking the edge of the bank. The Blackwater babies find themselves in a situation that only Beatrice Beaver can help with. Will Beatrice be able to save the day and create friendships along the way?
