商品簡介
Posterior Tooth Selection.Selection depends on factors like ridge relation, jaw relationship, functional needs, esthetics, and material. The mesiodistal space between canine-tuberosity (maxilla) or canine-retromolar pad (mandible) guides size, while buccolingual width should match ridge to avoid instability. Materials used include acrylic, porcelain, or metal inserts, chosen according to wear resistance and opposing dentition. Cusp form plays a key role: anatomic (30 ) teeth give good esthetics and mastication but produce lateral forces; semi-anatomic (10-20") provide a balance; non-anatomic (0"/monoplane) minimize lateral stress, ideal for resorbed ridges or poor neuromuscular control. Proper arrangement aims for balanced occlusion and harmony with anterior teeth, ensuring efficient function, stability, and patient comfort.
