Time to Reflect

Ava's world was calm and organised-or at least it had been the night before. By morning, she had fallen out of bed, arrived at work wearing odd shoes, and looked as though she'd been dragged through a hedge backwards. Little did she know, it was a warning of the chaos still to come.

Working for a prestigious estate agency, Ava is sent to show a stately house to its new owner, the tall, dark and undeniably handsome Trent Tremayne. Unfortunately, his good looks are wasted on her. Conceited and arrogant, Trent is definitely not her type-and Ava makes sure he knows it.

Unfortunately, fate has other ideas.

Despite her best efforts to avoid him, Ava repeatedly finds herself in compromising situations with Trent. First he catches her boss kissing her forehead, then they are thrown together at a party, and finally Ava lands in a swimming pool and drags Trent in with her. The resulting newspaper photograph makes them look scandalously intimate, leaving Trent convinced she deliberately set him up-and his jealous girlfriend, Katya, determined to make Ava pay.

When Katya pushes Ava down a flight of stairs, matters take an even darker turn. Then, mistaking Ava's twin sister Ori for her, Katya attempts to steal Ori's baby, sending her increasingly unstable behaviour spiralling completely out of control.

As Ava and Trent spend more time together, their mutual attraction becomes impossible to ignore. But when Katya discovers they have fallen for each other, jealousy turns to obsession-and she escapes the institution where she has been confined, intent on killing Ava.

Ava, however, is no helpless victim and thwarts her attempt.

With Katya finally out of their lives, Ava and Trent can at last look forward to a future together. But getting there has been anything but calm, organised-or predictable.
