Together they discover that women went missing from this area over one hundred years ago, including the previous Lightkeeper, Sadie. What caused her to disappear from the very Lighthouse Lorraine now lives and works in?

Was moving back home a mistake? All Lorraine wanted was a fresh start with a new life, but what if she unwittingly brought something with her? What if she'd activated something that'd slept for over one hundred years? Something sinister?

Fireside Point is a bustling coastal town where visitors enjoy popular restaurants, ice cream cones, gift shops, art galleries and one nudist beach.

It's also a ghost town.

Is it any wonder what with Lake Superior's legendary ship graveyard just a few miles out from shore?

Ninety-nine year old Lighthouse keeper, Hattie has had her share of losses but keeps on going. A recent injury doesn't interfere with an occasional card game with friends, a good cup of tea and a smoke off her favorite pipe. She enjoys peace and tranquility on the shores of Lake Superior.

Coastguard Officer and survivor of hard knocks, Trevor lives the good life. After meeting Lorraine, he realizes an emptiness he's carried for so long. Life can be full of surprises, and Lorraine is the most welcome surprise of all.

Lorraine escapes a toxic environment at work, created by her draconian boss. Disheartened by a medical diagnosis and running out of choices, she comes home to work as a private nurse. Just when a world of possibilities opens up for her in beautiful surroundings, a string of hauntingly eerie events occurs. Was coming home a blessing? Or a curse in disguise?
