Mindy Membrane has one of the most important jobs in Cellville. As the protective border surrounding the cell, she helps control what moves in and what moves out. Her flexible walls are built from phospholipids, and the fats that come Cellville's way can help provide building blocks for those membranes.
But one day, two very different groups arrive.
The Flow Friends bring fats that help provide building blocks for fresh membrane lipids. Then the Sticky Crowd rolls into town, and Cellville soon finds itself facing trouble. As vulnerable membrane lipids encounter free radicals, oxidative damage begins to spread. Mike the Mighty Mitochondrion struggles, Gigi Golgi's packages are affected, Lenny Lysosome and Vicky Vacuole face membrane damage, and even Nora Nucleus calls in the repair team.
Now Mindy and the Cellville Crew must work together to protect their tiny city and rebuild.
