The Lost Text of The Omen Bird

More than ten thousand years after the founding of civilization on the world of Kirri, a secret buried beneath the legendary Crag of the Omen Bird comes to light. Hidden within a sealed chamber lies an ancient data archive containing the journals of the planet's earliest settlers-records long suppressed by religious authorities who feared the truth they contained.

Presented as the translated writings of one of these settlers, The Lost Text of the Omen Bird tells the story of a desperate colony ship fleeing a dying world. After more than a century of wandering through space in search of refuge, the survivors crash-land on an isolated planet unlike any they have ever encountered. Their engines are destroyed, and any hope of returning home is gone.

The journal's author, a botanist, joins a small expedition tasked with exploring the wilderness beyond the crash site. Alongside scientists, engineers, and dreamers, he descends from the frozen mountain peaks where they landed into a vast and unfamiliar world filled with strange ecosystems, hidden dangers, and mysteries that challenge everything they thought they knew. As the settlers struggle to survive, establish a permanent home, and preserve their culture for future generations, they must also confront questions of identity, history, and what it truly means to belong to a place.

Blending science fiction, exploration adventure, and imagined archaeology, The Lost Text of the Omen Bird unfolds as both a first-contact narrative and a recovered historical document. Through its layered structure, the novel examines how myths are born, how history is rewritten, and how the stories a civilization tells about its origins can shape its future. The result is an immersive tale of survival, discovery, and the fragile line between legend and truth.
