我國過去相關研究在進行領域的學術能量分析時，多依據資料庫廠商的期刊領域分類系統的角度檢視，該領域分類與我國國家科學及技術委員會(國科會)的學門分類並不相同。本研究嘗試以系統性的方法，串連國科會學門分類與期刊學科領域，以進行國科會學門層級的學術研究表現。本研究資料來源為科睿唯安公司(Clarivate)的Web of Science資料庫，包含自然科學引文索引擴大版(Science Citation Index Expanded, SCIE)，與社會科學引文索引(Social Science Citation Index, SSCI)、藝術人文引文索引(Arts & Humanities Citation Index, AHCI)，發表年介於2014-2021年，被引用次數計算至2022年9月30日。本研究初步完成學門分類與學術期刊學科領域之對應，並以國科會自然科學及永續研究發展處的10個學門為例，分析各學門學術能量，指標包含論文發表數量、引用相關指標、國際合著比例等，以瞭解學門層級的學術發表情形與影響力。此外國科會於2018年增設「新興/其他領域」學門，本研究亦透過串接研究計畫資料與論文書目資料，以瞭解該學門的成立，是否確實帶來了新的領域的產生，以及瞭解是哪類型的學者申請此學門的計畫。本研究之分析結果有助於了解學門領域層級的研究能量，並可做為相關部會未來規劃補助方案、研究資源配置之參考。
