數位生活科技研討會(Symposium on Digital Life Technologies)是國內在數位生活科技領域規模最盛大的學術會議之一，本著「人本．創意．智慧」之核心理念，歡迎各界專家投稿與分享研究成果，以期達到數位生活相關之技術與創新應用的目的。

The Glasgow Climate Pact signed on the 26th Conference of the Parties of United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change in 2021, saws representatives' determination for carbon neutrality by 2050. Meanwhile, "Net Zero by 2050: a Roadmap for the Global Energy Sector" proposed by International Energy Agency has suggested hydrogen as a decarbonization technology in various fields. As a clean, stable power with diverse sources, hydrogen provides a promising solution for energy, industry, and transportation, making hydrogen economy a prominent international topic, prompted developed countries actively investing in hydrogen technologies, setting out development pathways, offering policies and subsidies for short, mid and long-term goals. With net-zero by 2050 commitment, Taiwan introduced its goals in 2021, followed by "Taiwan's Pathway to Net-Zero Emissions in 2050" proposed by the National Development Council in 2022, unveiling a cross-ministerial aggregate strategy. The R&D activity in the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) industrial sectors is an important factor in boosting the competitiveness of the European economy, and it stands high on the European political agenda (European Council held in Lisbon, March 2000). As an extension of existing research efforts, IPTS (DG Joint Research Centre, European Commission) has launched a research tender focused on R&D in ICT sectors in India, China and Taiwan, in order to gain a better understanding of major ICT R&D capabilities in that part of the world. The research exercise includes the preparation of three national Country Reports, supported by a Dataset and a Technical Annex for each country. The digital divide and the inequalities of the availability and deployment of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) between developed and developing countries have long been a source of concern. Global institutions such as the United Nations, the International Telecommunications Union (ITU) and the World Bank, as well as regional and national level agencies, have set up task forces to investigate how ICTs can be enacted most effectively in developing countries. How this shared vision should be put into practice is a complex undertaking, but it is already taking place.
