DAVID BUCKINGHAM is Professor of Education and Director of the Centre for the Study of Children, Youth and Media at the Institute of Education, London University, UK. His research focuses on children and young people's interactions with electronic media, and on media education.
REBEKAH WILLETT is Lecturer in Media, ICT and Cultural Studies at the Institute of Education, University of London, UK. She is also a researcher at the Centre for the Study of Children, Youth and Media. She has conducted research on childrens media cultures, focusing on issues of gender, literacy and learning.
