Joan Serra Hoffman, PhD, is a consultant to international organizations including the Inter-American Bank, the World Bank, the Organization of American States, and USAID. Her published works include Youth Violence, Resilience, and Rehabilitation. Hoffman was the founding codirector of the Inter-American Coalition for the Prevention of Violence, and was the recipient of the Rockefeller Foundation Next Generation Leadership Fellowship.
Lyndee Knox, PhD, is CEO of LA Net, a community-based organization that supports not-for-profit-groups working in low income communities. She also serves as codirector of the Southern California Academic Center of Excellence on Youth Violence Prevention. Her published works include Connecting the Dots to Prevent Youth Violence: A Training and Outreach Guide for Physicians and other Health Professionals.
Robert Cohen, PhD, is professor and vice chair in the department of psychiatry at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA. His published works include Chiseled in Sand: Perspectives on Change in Human Services Organizations and Hammond's Choice: A Marty Fenton Mystery Novel, a mystery novel focused on the child mental health system.
