Jazz Books in the 1990s: An Annotated Bibliography

Greenberg (Jersey City Free Public Library) has done a terrific job in compiling a full, well-organized bibliography of books on jazz. Focusing entirely on nonfiction books for the adult reader, Greenberg has assembled the material thematically, with titles arranged alphabetically by author for each theme or sub-theme. Subject, author, and title indexes allow the reader to locate all entries on an individual musician or other topic. The annotation of the entries offers a brief summary, listing the musician or musicians described, and the book's contents, including the presence of images.
