Irving A. Cohen, MD, MPH, FACPM is a Fellow of the American College of Preventive Medicine and a former chief resident of Preventive Medicine at Johns Hopkins University. He currently directs Preventive Medicine Associates in Topeka, Kansas. His natural weight-loss program has changed the metabolic needs of diabetics so that many obtain better control of their diabetes on diet alone than they were able to accomplish on multiple medications.
