商品簡介
This is one of four books resulting from the 13th international (35 countries represented) conference on engineering design (ICED 01). ICED covers engineering design from product development and innovation to feature-based geometric reasoning and design for later life-phases. The theme of this conference was unifying engineering design building a partnership between research and industry. The 325 papers (8 pages each) were selected after a double blind review of the abstracts and a double review of the papers. This volume consists of eight topics on the way design is practiced and applied. It consists of a number of industrial case studies and design activities, and examines how educators can help the next generation. Paper topics include the process from patent to product, curriculum for design education, and eco-design. No subject index. Distributed in the US by ASME. Annotation c.
