商品簡介
Hau-Riege (Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, California) summarizes the current understanding of the interaction of x-rays with matter, focusing on high-intensity short-pulse radiation. He discusses the relevant physical processes, including the interaction of the x-ray field with electrons, the coupling of electronics and ions, the microscopic and macroscopic changes in materials, and the feedback of these processes. Among the topics are atomic physics, electromagnetic wave propagation, electron dynamics, dynamics of x-ray irradiated materials, and examples of x-ray interaction.
