Anna Letitia Barbauld: Selected Poetry and Prose

One of the founders of British Romanticism, Anna Letitia Barbauld (1743-1825) was a leading poet, essayist, and writer of pedagogical materials for children. This anthology presents selections from her poetry and prose, along with commentary from McCarthy (Iowa State U.) and Kraft (U. of Georgia). The volume does not contain an index. They co-edited The Poems of Anna Letitia Barbauld (1994) for the University of Georgia Press.
