Like the Aztecs and Mayans, many of us consider chocolate a food from the gods, which is what its scientific name Theobroma cacao means. Dietitians who helped launch the first "heart healthy" brand trace the world's love affair with chocolate and its health benefits. The book features photographs of the luscious product in its many forms, tips on chocolate tastings, trivia, quotes, recipes, and a bibliography that (while not annotated as claimed) lists research studies. The only thing missing is a sample! Annotation c2008 Book News, Inc., Portland, OR (booknews.com)
