商品簡介
Zhao (Michigan State U.) presents a collection of 17 articles reporting on empirical studies on the effective use of computer-assisted language learning (CALL). Written by 27 academics and researchers, all but one from the U.S., the majority of the articles were previously published in scholarly journals and books. Following an overview of research in CALL the articles are organized into sections according to the ways technology can be used in language education to improve input, to support communicative practice, to improve feedback, and to construct a system-level language learning environment. The text concludes with a look at future directions for CALL in light of emerging trends in technology development and their implications for future research and development. No subject index.
