This book reports on ten years of research on developing an integrated and flexible methodology for modeling complex Web information systems. The book is divided into three sections, with a summary overview for each section. The first section provides background on strengths and weaknesses of existing methodologies for modeling and designing business processes and Web applications, and describes the use of the OWL language for the realization of meta-models. The second section of the book describes two complete Web application process-oriented designs for internal and external users.
