即付保證函統一規則(URDG758)

國際商會自1992年刊行即付保證函統一規則(URDG 458)以來，已經歷近二十年，在這段期間，保證函業務在國際貿易、金融、工程、保險等業的使用上漸趨廣泛。近年來，保證函的使用與重要性已凌駕傳統商業信用狀，若以金額計算，為一般商業信用狀的五倍，其重要性自不待言。
國際商會為因應保證函時代的來臨，對保證函統一規則作出修訂，本書起草小組在主席Georges Affaki領導下，歷經兩年半的時間，共提出了五個草本供各國國家委員會提供改進意見，最終以URDG 758的名稱於2010年1月刊行，並自同年7月1日開始施行。
我國經濟發展係以國際貿易為導向，URDG 758的修訂提供了相關行業一個更方便的國際信用工具。國際商會中華民國總會鑑於本書的實用性，乃與台灣金融研訓院合作，敦請該會銀行技術實務委員會委員沈榮嘉先生負責審校、楊安和先生負責翻譯，期望本書能成為我國所有從事經貿、金融業者、律師、法官及相關人員最具價值的工具書。
