商品簡介
Whaley, an author, editor, and founder of Still Point Press, provides the memoirs of anthropologist/ethnographer Alice Marriott (1910-1992), who studied the cultures of the Southwestern American Indian and wrote Maria: The Potter of San Ildefonso, a study of Pueblo Indian pottery making. The memoirs were written four years before her death, when Still Point Press requested an autobiography. Whaley provides an introduction and brief annotations to the memoirs, which describe the friendships Marriott made during her career. Annotation c2009 Book News, Inc., Portland, OR (booknews.com)
